Refund Policy

We want every Skilldera transaction to feel fair. This page explains when refunds are available, who decides, and how to request one.

1. The default 14-day refund window

By default, all paid digital products on Skilldera come with a 14-day money-back guarantee, starting from the moment of purchase.

If you request a refund within 14 days and meet the conditions below, your purchase will be refunded in full to the Mobile Money account you used to pay.

2. Conditions

A refund will be granted if:

• You request it within 14 days of purchase, AND
• You've completed less than 30% of the course (for video courses) or have not downloaded the file (for digital downloads), AND
• You haven't previously refunded a purchase from the same creator (one refund per buyer per creator)

3. When a refund will not be granted

• You've completed more than 30% of the course content
• You've downloaded the digital file (for ebooks / downloads)
• You're past the 14-day window
• You purchased the product as part of a bundle and have already used another item in the bundle

4. Creator opt-out

Individual creators may opt out of the default refund policy for specific products, for example courses sold as live cohorts or limited-edition workshops. When a creator opts out, the product page will clearly state “No refunds” before purchase.

By purchasing such a product, you acknowledge that no refund will be available.

5. How to request a refund

1. Email ebesoh.adrian@codershublabs.com within 14 days of purchase
2. Include: your email, the product name, the date of purchase, and your reason
3. We'll review and respond within 48 hours
4. If approved, the refund will be processed within 5 business days to your Mobile Money account

6. Disputed sales

If you believe a charge was unauthorized or fraudulent, contact us immediately. We will investigate and, if confirmed, issue a full refund regardless of the 14-day window.

7. Platform fees

When a refund is issued, the platform fee (15% / 10% / 8% depending on the creator's plan) is also refunded to the buyer. The creator's earnings for that sale are reversed from their pending balance.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will not affect refund eligibility for purchases made before the change.
